Join us for the Second Annual Arts and Drafts Festival at Falling Creek Park at 1257 County Farm Rd in Bedford VA on May 10, 2025 from 11 am until 6 pm. Are you interested in being a vendor at our event? Are you an artisan of hand-crafted items? Please contact us at gfwcbwc@gmail.com with photos of the products you create. Let’s talk and plan to bring you onboard for the day. Vendor booth fee is $30, Food Vendor fee if $75, Non-profit fee is $20.

2025 Holiday Mart
On November 15, 2025 GFWC Bedford Woman’s Club celebrates our 50th year holding the Holiday Mart. An annual craft show featuring artisans of handmade crafts, art, authors, great food, soaps and lotions, candles and more. We invite a few non-profits to talk about their organization and maybe do a little fund raising too.
The show is held at Liberty Middle School, 100 Liberty Minuteman Dr. Bedford VA. Hours are 9 am until 3 pm.
Are you an artisan of hand crafted items, an artist, author, a non-profit that would like to introduce your organization to our community?
Contact us at gfwcbwc@gmail.com with photos and a description of your work. This is a juried show, meaning, we review your work as part of the application approval process.
This is our largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds go back to our local community.

Holiday Mart
Join us on Saturday November 16, 2024, for our 49th Annual Craft Show now called the Holiday Mart. From 9 am until 3 pm at Liberty Middle School, Bedford VA. The gym, cafeteria and the main hall will be filled with artisans of hand-crafted items that make great gifts for the holiday season. We will have a scavenger hunt for the kids so bring them along to have some fun!
A few nonprofits will be on hand to share the news about their organization, role in our community plus fundraising for their projects. Great food vendors onsite too. After all of that shopping you are bound to be hungry. So, come spend the day with us!

Bedford County Fair
The Bedford County Fair is Back! Join us to Celebrate the Best of Bedford. See the exhibits in the Ag Competition Room at the Bedford County Gym on Turning Point Rd. where we will also hold a craft show of handcrafted items for sale. The Midway, Food Trucks, Kids Activities, Livestock Demonstrations to be held on the Fairgrounds on Falling Creek Road next to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office. Fair hours are as follows: Friday August 23, 2024, 4 pm until 9 pm. Saturday, August 24, 2024, 10 am until 9 pm. Sunday, August 25, 2024, 12 pm until 6 pm.
GFWC Virginia Conference
GFWC Virginia Conference will be held at The Inn at Virginia Tech. Open to members of GFWC Clubs in Virginia. Conference schedule TBD.
Women’s History Exhibit
Join us at the Bedford Boys Tribute Center classroom for a wonderful celebration of Women’s History, with an exhibition featuring the contributions of local women during World War II. The event takes place each day from 10AM-4PM. This is a free event for all.
Arts and Drafts
Join is for a day full of fun and shopping. Mother’s Day craft market and kids activities. Music by Alpha Whiskey, and Farm Use String Band. Food trucks, beer and wine. Just a great time for all. FREE GATE EVENT.
