April 2025 Business Meeting
Our April 3, 2025 Business meeting will be held at the Bedford Boys Tribute Center Classroom and Auditorium at 110 N Bridge St at 6:15 pm for Social Time and 6:45 pm for our business meeting. Due to a scheduling conflict at our meeting site we will meet in the evening this month.
April is Child Abuse Awareness Month so we have invited Kelly Diaz from CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) to be our speaker for this meeting. So please join us to learn how CASA makes a great impact in our community.
Please join us for on this evening, for food, fellowship and to learn more about our club and our role in the Bedford community.
May 2025 Business Meeting
Our May business meeting will be held at the Bedford Central Public Library Conference Room at 321 N Bridge St Bedford VA. Parking is available behind the library off of Bedford Ave.
We are brown bagging our lunch for this meeting, so bring your favorite lunch to enjoy!
Our speaker will be Fred Duis of the Wharton Garden. Join us to learn the history of the garden and take a tour to enjoy it’s beauty.

March Business Meeting
Join us on March 6, 2025 to celebrate 52 years of service to our community. We begin at 11:45 am with social time and 12:15 for our business meeting. We meet at the Bedford Boys Tribute Center Classroom and Auditorium at 110 N Bridge St. Bedford VA 24523.
Learn more about our organization, a non-partisan, non-denominational group of women living the volunteer spirit. We will share our history, the work we do, the fun we have together and more about the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.
Yes, there will be cake! Come help us celebrate!
February 2025 Business Meeting
We will hold our February Business meeting on Thursday February 6th at the Bedford Boys Tribute Center Event Room beginning at 11:45 am for social time with our business meeting beginning at 12 Noon. Refreshments will be served. Our speaker will be Amy Johnson NP-C from CMG Bedford to talk about women’s heart health. Also on our agenda is to sign Valentine’s Day cards to deliver to the residents of the five nursing facilities in the Town of Bedford. We have some business to attend to and we will take a little time for a great ice breaker and learning more about GFWC.
We ask all attending to wear red in honor of American Heart Health Month!
